Windows Vista

31 03 2007

Windows Vista is super cool. My Dad and I went to Office Depot to look at laptops, and while we were there, my Dad bought Windows Vista Home Premium! I’ve been trying it out on his computer for the last 15 minutes or so, and it’s really cool. The only thing bad about it is that my Dad’s 3-year-old laptop doesn’t have enough memory, so he can’t flip through his Windows in 3-D. Otherwise, it’s awesome!

I even typed this post in Vista!

This laptop is super sleek. It is the Compaq V6205NR. It has an AMD Turion 64 processor, which I’ve heard is very capable of mobility. It is also pre-loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium.  It also has a huge 80 GB hard drive.  It is $749.99 at BestBuy.com.

An awesome laptop

This is the laptop that I really want. It is the Dell XPS M1210. Part of the reason I like love it so much is that it has an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. Another reason I love it is because it is pre-loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium. It also has an optional built in camera. It is $1300, but it is well worth the money. Visit http://www.dell.com and do a keyword search for Dell XPS M1210. Sorry it is not a live link.

Yesterday, I got an account from Gmail. It is sooooo cool!!!!! When you sign up, you get all of these cool features, like a calendar, an online word processor, an online spreadsheet program, and so much more! I highly reccomend switching from Yahoo mail, Hotmail, or any other online email.

Windows Vista – totally awesome!

Honestly, I think Windows Vista is a pretty darn good Operating System. I’ve went to computer retailers and tried it out on the display laptops, and it’s really cool!

Part of the reason I like it is because it looks really cool. I like the “Aero” style, as Microsoft calls it, so you can see through the windows. I also like the way the start button looks.

Another reason I like Windows Vista is that you can flip through your windows in 3-D (by pressing the Win. key and tab at the same time). I think it will make it much easier for people who usually have a ton of Windows open to get to the window they want faster.

Just to be safe, if you are thinking about buying it, I’d wait a couple of months before you get your hands on it.
